Cyrille Varet introduced his furniture in Berlin at KaDeWe, Europe largest department store, in a “Baroque style” christmas display.
FEAST SCENARIO
“Baroque Decadent” was the theme chosen by KaDeWe for Christmas 2007.
Cyrille Varet’s furniture did fit really well to this desplay theme.
Colors where carefully chosen, and specific pieces of furniture were designed for this occasion.
The Feast table was a 3 meter long table, with 12 chairs, with a forged structure holding a huge chandelier.
CHANDELIERS
The decor had to take into account the 20 meters hight of the ceiling at this particular place of the department store.
Therefore, structures have been created to hang huge chandeliers decorated with the Ithemba Lightbulbs.
The chandelier was more than 2,50 meters wide.
CYLINDER CHANDELIERS
Colorful lihghtbulbs are exhibited on huge chandeliers, also decorated with Swarovsky crystals and beadworks handmade in the Orange Farm township, near Johannesburg.
