in 2014, Cyrille Varet’s metal furniture decorated the second Gyoza Bar, opened by Sato Shinichi and Guillaume Guedj rue de Saintonge in Upper Marais in Paris. Bar seats and stools in leather and metal, combine with a massive wooden bar in a minimalist decor.
A TYPICAL JAPANESE RESTAURANT
The Goyza Bar is an affordable “quality fast food”, offering a very basic menu composed of a single choice : the Goyza, a moon-shaped ravioli, for which Sato Shinichi has refined his recipe carefully choosing his ingredients: pork spine and chest sold by Hugo Desnoyer with an accompaniment of herbs selected by Joel Thébault.
REFINED DECOR
The small restaurant gathered a refined combination of noble materials, stone walls, massive bar with light wood, lined with Cyrille Varet ‘s bar seats covered with leather.
There was also a declination of the barstools into low stools, also in leather and metal.
